Russian air defense units intercepted two Ukrainian drones that were flying toward Moscow early on Tuesday.
The city’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, shared the news on the Telegram messaging app.
Sobyanin said that emergency crews are now examining the debris at the sites where the drones fell.
In recent weeks, both Ukraine and Russia have launched waves of drone attacks targeting various locations. Dozens of Ukrainian drones have been aimed at Moscow and the surrounding region during this period.
