Drone Strikes in Tehran Injure Dozens Amid Escalating Israel-Iran Conflict

At least 20 people were injured on Sunday after an Israeli drone strike struck a student dormitory in Tehran, Iran’s capital, Iranian state television reported. The dormitory is located on Keshavarz Boulevard, though further details have yet to be confirmed.

An Anadolu correspondent reported that Israel targeted several civilian residential areas across Tehran. These included a building in the northern Niavaran neighborhood and another on Sabounchi Street near the Afghan Embassy. Another strike hit a building in Seyed Khandan, a crowded area close to central Tehran.

The attacks follow coordinated Israeli airstrikes on multiple military and nuclear sites across Iran on Friday. In response, Tehran launched retaliatory strikes within hours, with the exchanges continuing for a third day.

Israeli officials reported that at least 13 people were killed and more than 370 injured during Iran’s retaliation. Meanwhile, Iran’s Health Ministry stated that 128 people have died and 900 others were wounded since the Israeli attacks began on Friday.
