Russian drone strikes hit the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Dnipro late Tuesday, killing one person and injuring at least 46 others, according to Ukrainian officials.
Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, is located near the Russian border in the northeast. It has faced frequent drone and missile attacks since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion over three years ago.
The latest attack on Kharkiv injured at least 45 people, including two children and a pregnant woman, said regional governor Oleh Syniehubov.
Officials said one person was killed in the drone strikes, which also hit the city of Dnipro. Details about the damage in Dnipro were not immediately released.
Ukraine continues to face near-daily aerial attacks as the war with Russia drags on.
