Heven, a leader in hydrogen-powered drones, has announced its acquisition of Zepher Flight Labs (ZFL), marking the creation of a powerhouse team focused on shaping the future of unmanned flight.
Heven, known for its modular, high-endurance drones capable of flying for over 10 hours, is now poised to expand its capabilities. With Zepher’s expertise in quick-launch, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) drones—designed for both military and commercial use—Heven aims to take drone technology to new heights.
“This acquisition isn’t just a win for us; it’s a win for every customer seeking cutting-edge drone performance,” said Bentzion Levinson, CEO of Heven. “With Zepher on board, we can now offer drones that are more flexible, durable, and mission-ready than ever before.”
Zepher’s team will work alongside Heven’s Miami-based staff to develop drones that are lighter, quicker to deploy, and easier to repair in the field. The goal is to create a fleet of ultra-reliable drones capable of handling everything from border security to supply drops—without the need for a runway.
Adam Stolz, CEO of Zepher Flight Labs, echoed the excitement. “Partnering with Heven allows us to push the limits of drone technology and accelerate our mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions.”
This acquisition comes after Heven’s February launch of the Raider, a hydrogen-powered drone capable of carrying up to 50 pounds with minimal downtime. It also follows Heven’s recent partnership with Mach Industries to ramp up drone production in the U.S. and the introduction of Heven Border Solutions.
